How we handle data. What we collect. What we never collect.
Made in Basel-Stadt, Switzerland · revDSG-compliant by design
Principles
- Swiss servers: All data is stored in Switzerland.
- nFADP / revDSG compliant: We work under the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (in force since 1 September 2023).
- Anonymised AI use: Student and teacher data is anonymised before every AI interaction.
- No data sharing: We do not sell data. We do not pass data to third parties, except to deliver the service and only with contractual safeguards.
What data we collect
To use ProScola we collect:
- Name and email of the teacher (for account management)
- Learning Paths and Scolets you create
- Student data, where you enter it (with anonymised AI processing)
- Technical usage data (for operations and support)
What we use data for
- Operating and improving the platform
- Contact for service questions
- Billing
- Anonymised usage analysis to improve the product
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
For schools we offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that establishes the contractual basis under nFADP / GDPR. Each school receives its own data protection agreement.
AI and student data
AI generations in ProScola run through anonymised pipelines. Student PII is removed or pseudonymised before being passed to an AI model. Details in the architecture diagram, available on request for school leadership.
